NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Animal Care Center (NACC) is pleased to announce that its Mobile Pet Pantry program will continue in 2024, thanks to funding support from Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center, donations from the community, and site hosting from Norfolk Public Library. Last year, hundreds of pets and their families benefited from the program, which provides free pet food and resources.

The Waggin' Wheels Mobile Pet Pantry, part of the NACC's program, will visit a different Norfolk Public Library anchor branch on the second Saturday of each month. From noon to 2 p.m., pet owners can visit the pantry to receive free pet food, resources, and engage in various opportunities. The program will be available while supplies last on the following dates and locations:

- Feb. 10, May 11, Aug. 10, Nov. 9 at the Richard A. Tucker Memorial Library located at 2350 Berkley Ave. Ext.

- March 9, June 8, Sept. 14, Dec. 14 at the Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Branch Library located at 111 W. Ocean View Ave.

- April 13, July 13, Oct. 12 at the Jordan-Newby Anchor Branch Library at Broad Creek located at 1425 Norchester Ave.
